Update on firmware 1.1.12.0:

I contacted Phonak for clarification and was told that this firmware update is not yet available. The release is expected to become available across Europe at the same time, including through the myPhonak app.

So the earlier report of receiving version 1.1.12.0 may have been a mix-up with another update. I’ll update this post when I hear that the firmware has officially become available.

Phonak Infinio Sphere firmware update

 

Has anyone with Phonak Audéo Infinio Sphere I90 hearing aids received firmware version 1.1.12.0 via the myPhonak app?

 

I’ve seen a report from a user in Switzerland, but I’m curious whether it has become available in other countries as well.

 

If you’ve received the update, could you please share your country and when it became available?

US patients: be aware that while you may have the ability to upgrade firmware via the app on your phone, this may also lock your VA audiologist out of being able to update your programming until the next contract cycle. I upgraded to sphere ultra when that came out, and went in for a tuneup. They were unable to make target connect to my aids, as they hadn’t updated target yet. Just keep in mind.

My Spheres are at the repair center now. About 2 weeks ago my right aid died and my left one volume was very weak. It will be interesting to see if I get them back before the first of November.
