IOS 27 causing problems linking calls to hearing aids.

Since downloading iOS 27 incoming calls give a ring tone in hearing aids and over the speaker. On connecting the voice either comes in over hearing aids OR comes over the speaker. Outgoing calls connect and ring as normal via the hearing aids. Any one else having problems. Aids are Oticon Engage, iphone is 16e.

Apple is providing an update in IOS 27.0.2 soon regarding the issue of no sound upon receiving the mobile calls. Phone rings but no caller sound. Call via internet is OK.

I have to soft reset or switch off and on. Ask Meta , they provide some answer on setting.

I’ve been urged through security channels that the updates are urgent and update soonest unless there is a reason preventing it. (Like insulin pump or other medical device incompatibility.)
