Is it okay to use MP & MP C receivers

I’m looking to replace one of my receivers. The aids were used and came with a size 3 MP C and the other of size 2 MP I believe its a B base on the end of the receiver shape. They work ok but I need a size 3 to make it more comfortable.
The two currently work together fine and I’m assuming it’s OK to replace the different models of receivers. I have opportunity to purchase either one new one that is not going to match or (open box) two that will match, a little more money for those, but at this point, it’s not that big of a deal.
So. New? Open box?

I think you’re talking about the ReSound receivers?
The main difference between receivers with and without the letter C is that they are constructed differently where they connect to the domes.

Yes the resound linx2. I can see that they have different ends and I’m guessing they can have the same domes. Otherwise it might be best to buy the pair of matching receivers

If you buy Resound receivers with the letter C for use with power domes, you’d be better off using Resound’s new grey power domes, a lot of people have problems with whistling when using Resound’s older black power domes or other brands power domes.
