Is it possible to have ear moulds connected to RITE Oticon OPN1?

hi,is it possible to have ear moulds connected to Oticon OPN1…my audi tells its only possible to have domes(open,vented,double,bass etc).And moulds can only be used with PP Oticon.I found moulds way comfortable to wear than domes and not much sounds escaping this way and i dont wanna switch to BTE PP cause its more robust&heavier and visible on ears.thnx in advance

image .this is mold i wanna use on Rite that has mic inside ear and not at back as on PP.On OPN Rite tube that leads to mic is much smaller then in BTE type but i dont see reason why that smaller tube with mic on end cant be inserted in mould instead dome…prolly not experiences audi in this case

Not true. I had proper full shell moulds made that were not tight enough for my previous from the outer ear. I had them remade but I was left with the ‘faulty’ ones to keep as they sent the new ones by mail… A few months later I got . I didn’t like the domes. So I got the old moulds, pulled the tube out and carefully sliced the part that goes into the canal at the section that almost sits flush against before the canal. The tube hole was just big enough to push the RIC into it tightly. The best fit ever! Repurposed!

Why don’t you just pull the tube out of the mould and then push the into that hole? If its a hard shell, you may have to use a drill to make it slightly bigger. If its a silicone mould, no issues. I did this myself and worked a treat!

Okay, yeah, you can certainly try to arts and crafts it. Results not guaranteed. :smile:
