Jabra enhance no longer supported checking on DIY adjusting

Hi folks,
I have a set of the original Lively rechargeable aids that are now considered Jabra Enhance 500, after Jabra bought Lively. Recently, I was informed that all my service would be no longer supported. They offered a deal to get 3 yrs of support for $500 or $500 off on a new pair.
Well, I am retired (82 yrs old) and on a very fixed income. I thought my money could better serve me by trying . I would appreciate any advice on the possibility of DYI for these aids and what might be my next steps.

Here is a discussion of the Jabra 500 and self programing … it appears the the Jabra’s other than the 10 , 20 , and 30 from Costco will NOT connect to Resound Smart fit software :frowning:

Hello- I am trying to connect my Jabra Enhance 500 units to my laptop using Resound Smartfit 2.01 and a Noahlink Wireless device. While I am getting slowly flashing green lights on the Noalink, (indicating Bluetooth connection?) I do not get hearing aid model displayed. Is it possible to connect with the Jabra units with this software? Thanks in advance.

I have these ’s for sale at the moment, which can be programed with a NoakLink wireless and smart fit software.
These are slightly better than your Jabra 500 … which are equivalent to Omnia 5’s I believe.

As mentioned the lively aren’t a with SmartFit, GrayGhost has a offer that could work out for you, otherwise Costco or eBay, don’t forget you’ll need to buy the hardware interface (depending on what you get, a Noahlink wireless) which is around $180 .
