Has anyone ever had a Jabra Pro 20 aid software update in the app? I have not in about since purchasing. One was replaced recently with 9.28.2.1 and the other is 9.28.1.0.
Curious if this is really a feature.

If you are referring to the Jabra Pro app for the iPhone, it’s version 1.39.0, (2025). This according to the Terms and Conditions page inside the app itself. Since I don’t use any Android software based products, I don’t know what that version is numbered. The latest iPhone version includes a means to receive broadcasts through the phone.

I have the Jabra enhance pro 20s and I have needed to take them in at least twice to get “firmware” updates for the . My current firmware is listed as 9.68.1.1 I was told these updates can only be done at the Costco hearing Aid center. I eventually bugged them enough they looked it up and confirmed what the most recent version was and installed it. I was told that the update of the firmware can only be done at the store. Further Jabra does not publish the current version numbers so the only way to find out is to call jabra support or ask the HA assistants at costco to personally check. I can confirm that many of the bluetooth issues resolved themselves after these firmware updates along with operating system updates on samsung devices. There have been massive changes to the “bluetooth” versions over the last year that both the HA engineers and the phone’s OS engineers have been tweaking. So it is well worth being a very noisy squeaky wheel to make sure you have the latest HA firmware and your phones latest OS updates installed. I can also report that the device for a TV is phenomenal though expensive. At the moment only a very few of the newest TVs come with the hardware for auracast installed.

Thanks, Frank.
After over a year I suspected this firmware update “feature” has been crippled for some big-brother “protect me from myself” reason.
Good to know you are following it up and chasing Costco.

Well i donno, the App is useful for something , like “firmware updates” so that would of been an option?

Please advise where in the app we update the aids firmware. If you know of a way, maybe advise how instead of just another snarky

What a snarky puppy you are, just because you may not know something and have someone advise or inform you about it doesn’t make it “snarky” but your comment does, so it’s so easy to find in the App and you being so much as a fan boy should know, try to think before you speak, I hope your enjoying the forum, we have a great bunch of guys who offer great advice and solutions for everyday issues with ones etc, maybe you could one day be one, cheers
