I recently lost my Cochlear Kanso 3, and unfortunately, I am not eligible for a free replacement through the public hospital because I have single-sided deafness. Is there anywhere in Europe, Australia, or the USA where I could buy a new one at a reasonable price? Currently, they are selling for €10,000 in Brazil. Thanks

That has to be set up in the Nucleus Smart app and also the location settings in the phone. It’s a battery user for the phone and processors.

This is why I am afraid of Kanso, despite initially encouraging form factor. In my country there are insurances available for similar situations.

My first couple years wearing the K2 I used a retention device that clipped to my shirt collar. Over time I have learned the K2 stays on pretty good. If it gets knocked off I am in a tight spot working on something usually. It’s one of those things that you know at that moment it comes off.

There’s a place in America that’s selling them. You may not get a K3 but search there website they have a list of what’s for sale /replacement.
