There's a new free extension available for firefox and chromium-based browsers named Ketuvia that fixes youtube captions by allowing you to display entire sentences rather than the typical word by word transcriptions that are common on youtube. This allows you to more easily focus on other elements in the video because you don't have to focus on each word as it is displayed.

You can see a video demo of it running here6. Let me know if you find it useful.

PS: It also works on firefox for android.

If you tried this extension did you find it useful?

I watched the demo. It looks very useful. Now if only YouTube would fix their awful auto captions. They have the tech in gemini to do it properly...

It works good for me on Chrome. I normally have to resize YouTube native caption text size from 100% down to 75% and this plug in is much easier and gives me more control of the captions. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
