Same here. Kept trying to adapt to the reduced longevity until the right aid went completely dead. Costco replaced with new aids at 2 1/2 years. Years ago Costco also replaced my Bernafons one month short of three years when a wire went out one the right ear. Love their warranty!

I was told by two different Costco’s to just return every year and the warranty would srart over. I’ve returned mine twice and Costco sent them to Phonak. Each time I received new aid and new software.

My understanding is, , domes, cleaning and any adjustments carry on free of charge, I may be wrong on that, so please correct me if so. Although the audi. yesterday did mention if I had any problems call and make an appointment. I only have one week of warranty left.

Not on the , but if they replace with a new battery then that new battery has to come with some warranty, fit for purpose so to speak, 12 months seems reasonable, laws and regulations are different in a lot of places/countries.

The Aid warranty doesn’t extend, but the battery carries its own warranty.
So, should the aid start to develop the same fault within a year, they should sort it.
Edit: Actually, scratch that (I just read the post below about what aids they were) : Sonova and Costco will see the warranty as expired.

Almost two weeks to the day my husband returned to Costco and was re-fitted with a new pair of KS10’s. They replaced his existing pair due to the flagging battery issue. I don’t know if this would have impacted overall functioning, but we had our first conversation without having to yell (me) in awhile. They just weren’t working properly. The tech was patient and spent quite awhile getting him back up to speed. His warranty is up at the end of the summer and with effectively new aids, it is not like he will be adding to their bottom line any time soon, so it was gratifying that they went the extra mile to ensure he was on par. The good news is he is thrilled to have his much-loved aids working again. Bad news is I assume they will no longer be supported. At least I know what he likes at this point. He will probably stick with Phonaks going forward unless some of the other Costco offerings are comparable when the day comes that these no longer work.
