New Costco Jaba Pro 30 demo this week

The last few weeks have been rough for my present Pro 20 aids. They are completely muffled and I have been very upset about not being able to hear unless it is turned up all the way. So I had Costco audiologist send them back again to Java to rebuild or replace. He gave me a Demo pair while they were out for repairs. I can hear again with the pro 30 at the normal preset program voice stand out in crowded places. I can now hear music on tv and the direction sounds come from.

Got the 20 back and they are much better than before the rebuild. Over the past few weeks they had started to get muffled again so I had them cleaned at Costco which brought them back to life. Saw this hearing aid vac on eBay and I think this is a game changer. Every few days I use it on the mic holes and it works well to keep it clean. Best purchase since it reduces Costco visits to just getting so now.

Frequent issues with my jabra 10 is the main reason I will most likely not go with Jabra for my next set of aids.

waiting for the next failure now that I have zero warranty coverage - not worth fixing.

The Jabra EP20s have replaceable microphone filters that help keep out debris. The tech replaces them when I visit; I myself replace them on the M& about once a month. I’ve worn these aids very happily for several years and don’t have trouble with the mics. :slight_smile:

You can replace yourself at home. Ask Costco you give you a couple packs and maybe show you how. Or you can find instructions on YouTube, I imagine. It’s very easy.
