so here is my situation. I have a set of Phonak Virto P90 that have and I self program those with a Noahlink wireless and the Target software. I have been working with these for a few years. Last year I purchased a set of Oticon Own 1s (Firmware 1.02) with BTE. thanks to the good folks on this site I had those set up with Genie 2 and the same Noahlink solutions and both sets of aids have been working for me just fine with zero connect issues to my Windows 11 laptop.
Recently I purchased a new laptop and wiped the old one to give to a friend. I downloaded the software and installed everything as I had done before. The Phonak aids with Target and the Noahlink work perfect. Connection is fine, programming is fine as was before.
My issue is the Oticon aids will not connect to the Noahlink no matter what I try. Thanks to the assistance of a person here I even redownloaded the 2022.1 version of Genie 2 and started with a fresh and new client, new database, I have tried multiple ports on the USB, performed several shut downs and restarts, new batteries, simulate then try, Turned off my firewall and Defender completely, and in the end every time I try to connect the Noahlink will flash green like its trying to connect, then it times out and says no aids available.
Keep in mind the aids still work just fine, they do connect to my iPhone and the Oticon ON software on my phone sees them just fine. Also the Phonaks work perfect as they were before. Last piece of info is the Oticons were connected to my old PC just two days ago, and there was no firmware update or anything done outside of fine tuning.
Now I have retired 40 plus years in the technology business so I am pretty computer savvy but this one has me totally stumped. If anyone has any suggestions to try I am wide open. And if indeed I am stuck, can someone tell me if I can hardwire these Ones which are bluetooth ITE custom molds; and if so what specifically can I buy to wire them to the PC. thanks for any assistance.
