Yes, the Mfi struggles with multiple drop-out/reconnect issus. If you make additional connections across the system you increase the rate of drop-outs. The App uses another connection ‘slot’ each time. Eventually the list gets too long and one or both ends time-out and fail the handshake process: which means you have to bin the connection and start again from reboot.

Yes I noticed that too what i do is turn the bluetooth setting off fir 2 seconds then reboot the App …it comes on again.
I don’t remembered the last Oticon App behaving like that.

What if you wander out of range? How do you know it’s making the pairing on the same basis or reconnecting as a ‘new’ pair?

Because at least with my Samsung S23 phone and INTENT1 aids i have left my phone on the table by my recliner and walked over the house and even out to tje mailbox whislch is a good 50 feet, and haven’t lost connectivity with my phone. I have done it while streaming an audiobook to my aids. And as soon as i come back in I checked the app. Now my aids and phone are connected by le audio.

I have never found the equalizers useful. And I only have the general program. I can adjust the volume from my aids. I mostly use the app for checking usage time and battery life. Also at times to mute my aids when I have had enough of the outside sound environment when i am streaming audiobooks or music.

And that is what Oticon wants, they want an hearing aids that you can forget. They want that you can use the automatic programm for every situation and they are pretty good on doing it.

My Oticon minRITE R have been disconnecting lately. I wonder if it is from the latest update. I have the Oticon TV Adapter, it’s always disconnecting, asking me what to do to reactivate, then it turns back on by itself. Very annoying. Wondering if there might be a quick fix for that.

The only way to pair fresh is to forget the aids in the app, and power off and back on of the aids any manually pair the ids, and accept the new pairing on the phones screen.

Also if the app is connecting zi notice a delay in the connections, but i can close the app and when I reopen it the aids are fully connected.
As for as breaking connectivity I can wake all through my home and property with out losing connectivity to my phone and app. My lot is a half acre. I walk out to the mailbox which is on the other side of the road from my home, my phone in the house on my nightstand at the rear of the house, and I can still be listening to an audiobook. The distance is close to 100 feet. Our home is built out of cinder blocks, so the walls are close to a foot thick concrete and insolation.

You could also bin the app and reinstall it too.

However the phone still needs to lose it’s Bluetooth settings though.

Same for me, since update I loose BT connection all the time. I have a Samsung Galaxy S21. I am seeing my audiologist soon, hope the issue is known and can be solved because this is very annoying. In the update it says that connection should be more stable now, it’s the contrary.

I have the Samsung S23 phone with my Oticon aids and the app stays connected without failure.
