Does anyone know how to enable/configure these additional Tap Control features in the latest Companion app for IOS with the Oticon Intent 1’s? In particular what does the “Main Function” do and is it possible to configure the “Playing sound (streaming)” tap control? I’m running the latest Intent 1.3.0 firmware. Did not see anything relevant in Genie 2025.2 to enable these. Please see below for screenshots.

It’s the same on Android phone.
The Companion app shows all the available tap control settings, but doesn’t provide the option to change any except for in calls on off switch.
It would be good if Oticon released a new version of Companion app that allows user to control all the tap settings.

I believe the new firmware 1.3.0 includes the new tap control functions, as the tap control function wasn’t visible in the latest app with aids at pre1.3.0 firmware.
I expect we’ll find out soon where the control resides.

I’m just thinking why implement the controls on the app without a way to use them on the ? But since the current Genie version does not mention this maybe its for a future HA release…

Same question I have about Hearing aid updates in the app.

I think Starkey or ReSound does OTA updates through their app.
Seems risky from past experience as a field service engineer, but it doesn’t seem much different than using a Noahlink wireless with Genie.I well remember the days when doing F/W updates was only done over a wired LAN with clean power!
EDIT A quick search shows Signia does it. Maybe not Starkey or Resound.
