They don’t have Bluetooth. I don’t have them yet. So I would need fittinglink, and also, does the Genie software run on Mac iOS? Or windows only? Also, how could I get the Genie software?

The software is windows based, so best to use windows if possible, Mac machine can be set up with bootcamp or other virtual machines, a few forum members have done it before.

Thank you so much tenkan!! I am looking on amazon at the Digital Hearing Aid Programmer Mini PRO USB Compatible with All Brands Hearing Aids Functioned. Could I get this with the CS 44 #10s to program the Oticon Own ?
Also, is taking the battery doors on and off required? That sounds very delicate and difficult.

Welcome to the forum, great your giving a go, do read the user guides as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time, you’ll also need the Noahlink wireless programming device depending on which models your using.

Hello everyone,
It is my first post on this forum.
I have just received my first-ever .
Currently, I am not in a position to use professional help.
Because I have noticed, and I expect (due to my age) further deterioration of my hearing, I decided to evaluate the possibility of self-help with my hearing issues.
I am a retired electronic engineer, and I have already invested in Noahlink Wireless 2, as well as a couple of hearing aids, (specifically the Resound Verso 9 VO962 DRW and Oticon Real 2 miniRITE R).
Now I need software to experiment with programming them.
I have learned that I need SmartFit1.4.0.67+, Aventa 3.15, and Genie + Genie 2 - 2019.1.
If there is someone who guides me and helps me get this software, I will be very grateful and sincerely appreciate it.
Thank you for reading

Welcome to the forum, great your giving a go, please be sure to research and read the user guides before starting your DIY projects, yeah Aventa is all you need for those Verso models, I’m sure you’ll notice a big difference between the Real and Verso, as you have the Noahlink wireless already I’m sure you’ll be up and running in no time.

Thank you very much for the welcome, software and an advice.
Unfortunately my installation attempt stopped with the message “NOAH3 was not found on this system”.
I am now searching to learn how to resolve this problem.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you again.

Uh? Very easy to install, actually one click and it’s done, you don’t want or need NOAH rubbish installed on your PC, you install in standalone mode, cheers

I’m an electrical engineer, so can handle the acoustics aspect of genie. About ready to pull the trigger on a Noahlink, some questions: about the desired flow:

Hi there, no need for any “account” as I mentioned before you make up two “client’s” one for your original audiology settings and one for your projects, and yes genie will copy all your original settings into your first client, and you can use this to connect and load these settings back at any time, and yes the adjustments you make in your second client are in real time, you’ll hear the changes, genie is easy to navigate and with your background I’m sure you’ll find it easy enough to get things sounding how you like.
