Oticon INTENT, iphone and laptop connections

Question about connecting to laptop and iphone .... INTENT 1s, iPhone 17 Pro (27.0.1 iOS) and new LG Gram 17 laptop(UBGN81B)

Issue: I bought laptop mainly to be able to stream directly to hearing aids .... I've noticed however, that when I keep hearing aids connected to laptop (even when I don't use them as "default" for sound, they disconnect from my iphone... and then if I get a phone call, it won't go to the aids, and I have to "forget" and re-pair the aids to the phone in order to get them to connect again..... is there an easier way to do this, without having to delete the hearing aids from the laptop? I try turning bluetooth off/on but aids will still show "not connected" under accessibility in iphone. TIA

I suggest you get an Avantree C-82 Aura, which is a tiny USB-C dongle that you connect to via the Auracast function in the App. The sound quality is superb, and does not interfere with your bluetooth connection to your phone. You need to select the device as the output sound in your laptop settings to make this work. It is available on Amazon.

OP’s laptop has built-in , he/she shouldn’t have to buy another accessory for his/her laptop.

OP: It is my understanding that with LE Audio, you can only have one active connection at the time. This means you will need to disconnect the aids from your laptop first and then connect the aids to your phone. You shouldn’t have to re-pair the aids to your phone .

Thanks... so I actually have to "disconnect" my aids from the laptop? I have them connected to the laptop but I do NOT have them as the "default" sound output ... guess that's not enough?
