Oticon Intent only in Mymusic mode?

The price between intent and real would be the same in my scenario

A few thoughts here that might add to your thought process.

• There is compression on the MyMusic mode. The Moresound intelligence is turned off, as is the directionality but the Fine Tuning settings do have compression in them. I reprogrammed the MyMusic program to remove all compression and found that some gentle compression was a good thing (but less than in the original program). I also reprogrammed all the frequency settings so that MyMusic gives me music reproduction how I like it.
• I often use MyMusic as my main program when I am at home or watching TV (and always when listening to music). In a quiet situation it gives better all round sound reproduction (but bear in mind I have reprogrammed it).
• When outside or in a noisy situation, I use General or SiN.
• I have a custom version of the MyMusic program I am experimenting with so that I can listen to music in the car. The background noise is overwhelming with just MyMusic, so I have turned on the Moresound Intellegince in this version and am playing with those features to try to get good music reproduction with reduced background noise.

It is correct to say that the Genie 2 program used by Oticon aids does not give users any option to completely turn off compression in any of the programs, whether in the built-in or custom programs otherwise. You can play with the gains in Fine Tuning relative to each other to help minimize compression indirectly, but you simply cannot click a button to remove compression altogether.

After all your reply seems like clear dynamics would be the main feature that push me on buy intent 2 instead of intent 3 even if I use low noise suppression!
Right now I am trying it without even slightest gain on frequency near my loss even if Oticon HA calculated some gain (few db) around 1khz is that right for you?

If by frequency compression, you mean frequency lowering, you have a sharp drop off point right after 1 KHz, and the lowest destination region for the lowered sounds is at 1.6 to 2.4 KHz, which is already at the bottom of the ski slope for you, so I don’t think the Oticon frequency lowering would help much with your loss. But if you’re curious and want to try it, it doesn’t hurt to make a copy of the General program and turn this on for the 2.4 configuration and do A/B comparison to see if you like it or not. If not, you can always keep using the default General program and remove the new program later when you visit your HCP next time.

Sometime if I speak loudly in a closed environment I can hear my voice thought the aid I have this moulds, is that the most open Oticon moulds?

The pic is kind of hard to see, but it does look like the open dome.

Right now I’ve settled with my audiologist with NNS set to minimum -2db and seems pretty good; I will try to disable it.

I am again here writing for suggestions about which program to use.
Right now , my frequency drop off is after 1.25khz and together with my audiologist we have leaved all sort of frequency gain above that frequency ( I don’t know why fitting program want us to amplify even by few db 500hz frequency).
My general setting is like that; 2db neural noise suppression and all others fancy IA setting turn on.
Things are so better compared to previously setting (8db noise suppression)
What could I turn off for have a even more unprocessed sound?
I’m not having difficulty in nothing sound ambient or situation right now.
I feel a little over lapping and lag around 1.20khz listening a pure tone (I can hear this frequency with my ear at normal level) should I raise this?

The transition frequency from ‘normal hearing’ to amplified is always going to need to be smoothed a bit. If you don’t, you’ll hear the jump in amplification, might hear the change of phase or delay in processing too.

Also there’s a limit to which immediately adjacent channels can be isolated from each other. Bearing in mind, that each channel is an overlapping curve; not a square block - so step changes in gain are automatically rounded. ‘Step-changes’ greater than 16-24dB per octave might be unfeasible depending on the resolution of either the amplifier or receiver.

My post #16 already listed everything you can turn off on the Oticon hearing aids. If you’re fixated on turning off all processing, why still leave 2dB of noise suppression on?

The only thing on the Oticon that you can’t turn off 100% is compression. If you’re really pressed on having even more unprocessed sound, try to find analog hearing aids, or other hearing brands that allow you to turn off compression entirely. The Oticon does not, and for good reason. Not everything unprocessed is necessarily good like you think. Anyway, with Oticon, you can fine tune things to a certain degree to minimize compression, but you can’t remove it altogether with Oticon aids.

I think you should not be fixated on turning off all processing capability, but should rather focus on fine tuning what you have. The Oticon open paradigm should already let you hear just about everything around you and does not try to block out anything except to suppress noise, which you’ve already virtually turn off or at least down to 2 dB. You should turn it off completely if you want to eliminate processed sounds altogether.

Finally, I think it’s kind of a shame that you buy a premium aid like the Oticon Intent and then turn off just about all the advanced stuff to dumb it down. It’d probably be much more economical to just look for an older model that costs a lot less (because it’s already outdated and obsolete) and has very few features so it saves you a lot of money instead, because you don’t want anything on it anyway.

Right now I am not interested to leave others but just to leave neural noise suppression, Oticon is already very good to let me heard everything.
My general program has only noise suppression off so I use all Oticon intent functionality like clear dinamics feedback management and sensor moviment.

How can I know if I have some phase problems or delay for not amplifier frequency where my hearing is normal? Hearing pure tone generator after 1500hz I do not heard nothing but right before 2khz I start heard as good as 1khz, that can be a phase cancellation? How can fix it if yes?
