I purchased the Oticon hearing aids. There is no indication what level I have put the sliders up on the right and left.
Still having issues hearing my wife. Could be her voice is too soft or the hearing aids need further adjustments.
any suggestions on what may be goin* or or do I need a trip back to my audiologist to review/reset.
I hope I don’t need to upgrade to another Oticon as the original pair were expensive.

Are you refering to the volume levers in the app? I’m not sure I understand this.

If the aids are not working for you then yes, visit your provider.

To upgrade my hearing aid will the Audiologist do that via their app? I hope I don’t need a new set, this one is only 2 years old

No, unlike some Unitrons, aids in general cannot be firmware upgraded to a higher-tech level.

If you’ve had these for 2 years, I’d strongly suggest you get a hearing test, and have the programming on your Intents updated to your current prescription. Let the audi know what issues you’re having, and they can make the adjustments. You shouldn’t need to buy new ones.
Oticon has updated the software a couple of times since you got them, so they’re definitely outdated.
When your audi connects them the Genie 2 software will indicate an update is available.

The volume level can be increased by pressing the right side aid, and decreased by pressing the left side. Each press incrementally adjusts the volume. The default volume is heard as a double beep in both aids. Or you can use the Companion app on your phone.

You don’t need to change the aids, just get re-tested and ask for your prescription to be updated in the software. These aren’t spectacles, they are (re-)programmable hearing devices.
It’s likely that they both need a Firmware update too. The Audiologist can do this in the Bernafon software.
