Question here (my audi is asking Oticon as well). My hearing has dropped (haven’t updated my here) and I am on the cusp between the 85 and 100 receivers. I have Meniere’s so that also means that my hearing fluctuates on any given day - which makes it “fun”.
So my question is whether I can have 1 program with my 85 receiver; and a 2nd program with my 100 receiver so that I can switch out as needed?
This is of special interest to me because I just learned (will discuss with audi at follow up this week) that Oticon offers a microshell up to the 85 specifically for the Oticon More that is supposed to significantly enhance the hearing/performance.
Last question (maybe) I have custom molds. My 85 receiver micromold (audi has 3d scan) very comfortable no slipping. When the audi ordered the 100 receiver mold (using same scan) it was created with a canal lock. It is very uncomfortable. Audi has already grinded it down (as it had created sores/inflammation) in my ear. I was told to not wear it for 3-4 days to let my ear heal. Since I did not have any issues with the fit/slipping with the 85 is it mandatory that the higher receiver dictate using the canal lock?
Initial impressions of the More 1 have been good (when I can wear it) just trying to prepare everything for the follow up appt.
I also read on a different post here from last year that it is recommended to have the audi set the noise suppression at highest level (10).
AND for the life of me I can’t remember how to update my audiogram on this page.
