Oticon Opn 1 IIC keeps slipping out of my ears

Well I am someone that has never cared if anyone knew I wear hearing aids. They would definitely know was hard of hearing otherwise. I have always been up front with my hearing loss. I even made it known when doing a job interview. I was raised to be bluntly honest, and it has paid off most of the time.

There are quite a number of reasons why things are different. The number of microphones, the effect of the outer ear, and possibly the size of the receiver and this is not the entire list. So it is reasonable for them to sound different IMHO. Better or worse I could not say. And you chose to give value to discreetness which only you can quantify. The settings (software) for the previous version would only be a rough guide to the configuration needed with the new appliance.

I have both the opn 1 iic and the opn s1 RIC.

With regards to the iics slipping out, I had a similar issue and took them to the local oticon office. They fixed it in 10 minutes by adding a thin layer making them fit better in my ear.
