Getting Mom a has been delayed: Two weeks ago she had a seizure, her first ever and spent four days intubated and in ICU.
We’ve also kinda pieced together that her sudden hearing loss was brought on by IV antibiotics. Just as she was regaining some of what she loss bam! three steps back.
She’s now in acute rehab and it would be quite helpful if she could hear her OT and PT.
I’ve emailed Oticon USA regarding their warranty.
One provider says that the Acto Rite is a two year warranty and another provider says it’s one year.
The truth is out there…and it’s from the members of this forum. The answer is probably somewhere on this website, but it’s late, and I’m spending between 8-10 hours a day with her.
