I was running ProFit (V2024.1.10185.0) and PatientBase (V28.1.10016.0) without problems (W11)
Now I updated ProFit to V2026.0.10110.0 and get this failure message:
“The PatientBase SQL Server service is not running on this machine”
It is not possible to start now ProFit…..how can I solve this?

Hi there @evert seems there’s something going on with this latest update, as another forum member has this exact issue, they weren’t able to solve it at the time, better to just run the previous version until something can be found to fix it.
I updated my starkey Pro patentdatabase 28 version and the new Starkey Pro Fit 2026.1 and I cannot start the sql server is anyone having the same problem I been troubleshooting and nothing seems to work

My problem is that I just received new aids (Starkey Edge AI24 ), and these require the ProFit software, I can’t use the Inspire.

Yes that’s correct you need ProFit, but the issue is the same, I can’t understand why you guys are having this SQL Server issues, doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense why, I hope you find a solution.
