Hi, I’m 42 y/o and have been wearing analog ’s (Siemens) for the past 8 years. Finally time to buy new ones and I’m looking at CIC or ’s at Costco as well as my local audi. My audi is trying to keep my business by doing a partial price match to Costco–they are offering me level 5 hearing aids at the same price as Costco level 9 aids ($3,000/pair). (No office visit costs for the life of aids, free annual hearing tests, etc.) I trust this audi and receive excellent customer service so I am reluctant to switch to Costco. My question is what will I really be losing going from a 9 (high/premium level) to a 5 (mid level)? I work in a fairly quiet office environment with occasional meetings, etc. Occasionally go out to eat, etc., but usually don’t feel like I need aids in that environment anyway. I use aids with TV so my wife is happy, enjoy music, etc. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I appreciate any insight!

My audi is letting me trial for 75 days and I can upgrade or get money back during that time if I’m not happy. I think I’m going that route, but Costco sure is attractive as another option as well. Thanks again.
