I’m three days into trying the Phonak EON 90 Sphere hearing aids and thought others might be curious about battery life. So far, battery life is 20 to 25 hours per charge. That actually matches Phonak’s numbers pretty well—they say typical use is around 22 hours, with a max of 38 hours if conditions are perfect. As for my wearing style, I rely entirely on AutoSense and don’t adjust programs manually. Below is the usage data reported by the myPhonak app.

Thanks for posting real-world numbers — helpful data point. 20 to 25 hours on AutoSense-only lines up well with Phonak's 22-hour typical figure, so your aids are behaving exactly as expected so far.

One thing worth tracking if you keep logging: how many hours per day were streaming versus ambient listening. In my reading, streaming is the biggest single variable — and the days where Sphere/noise reduction is working hard will pull the number toward the lower end of your range, while quieter days with little streaming should land you closer to the upper end.

Do you tend to stream much during the day, or is it mostly ambient listening? Curious whether that 20-25 range holds steady for you over the rest of the trial.

20–25 hours per charge sounds quite solid, especially since you’re using AutoSense exclusively. It’ll be interesting to see whether the battery performance stays consistent after a few weeks of regular use.

I typically stream a 60-90 minute podcast from my iPhone to my hearing aids. The remainder comes from periodic streaming throughout the day from my iPhone, iPad, and & Windows 11 laptop.

How did you pull this usage data? Did you have to make an account? I have E70s and my experience is similar. I don’t wear mine as long each day but I stream more. My percentage remaining is usually similar.
