I have the Phonak Infinio Sphere I70 because insurance would only pay for these, and instead of paying $2499, the cost would have been $5499 for the I90's. Are the 90's that much better in your opinion? I still have trouble hearing soft spoken people with or without a crowd.

Check the prices for 2 years newer generation - Eon Sphere instead of Infinio Sphere in maybe another place if you're in trial period.

The i90s have speech enhancer for soft speech which the i70's don't. but it works in calm situations only. Untiron offers a similar feature at the top 3 tiers and it works in all listening environments. They have a device that also uses the deepsonic chip that runs a . You might see if your insurance will cover this and give it a try instead.
