what controls which program autosense chooses?
and is it a settable threshold?
In my trial of Sennheiser sonite rise aids, and these things are wonky. I've been going into the phone app quite a bit just to see which program it's chosing and trying to adjust teh equalizer for better understadning.
Anyway, it's often in some rather odd programs for my given environment...I've only seen "speech in loud noise" once, but I've been in some pretty loud places many times. mostly it's just chosing "speech in noise".
I was at a rock concert and just based on my random looks it seemed to split its time between at a concert "calm situation, quiet, and noise. " All while the music was playing...plenty loud!!!
I've never seen it in "comfort".
I think I've only seen "music" once.
I wonder if the thresholds it's using can be adjusted somehow. The fitter at Costco said he has no control over it
It probably doesn't matter much, becasue it seems to be pretty much universal that I need more High and mid frequecies no matter which prorgam it's in!! He clicked it up a couple of across the board. A little better maybe, but not where it needs to be. I'll have to see if I can figure out how to post the fitting data here to see if I can learn how to bump it up another notch or two
