Phonak Virto Infinio R or Phonak Lumity 312?

Hi

My hearing aid keeps breaking down because of excessive moisture my audiologist thinks and he wants me to trial the Phonak Lumity 312 hearing aid.

I’ve had my heart set on the Phonak Virto Infinio R for the discreteness and advanced technology but I was wondering if I’m likely to hear more from the Phonak Lumity 312 due to it being outside of the ear?

I feel like I have a dilemma because I’m very self-conscious of BTE hearing aids even though I’m 45 and I don’t want to make another wrong purchase after having loads of trouble with my Starkey Evolv IICs.

Does anyone know if you’re likely to hear more with the Phonak Lumity?

What also attracts me to the Phonak Virto Infinio R is the motion sensors (focus on speech in the direction you’re facing).

If you are using or were recommended a device, it is most likely that the Virto will not have enough power for your hearing loss.

Is this the reason? Are they wanting to move you to a with a slimtube rather than a ? An has been working for you from a sound quality perspective? If you’ve really been getting constant moisture breakdowns then this makes sense.

I have the new Virto R and the Lumity 312, use and like them both, but cannot answer your questions. I can tell you that the Lumity is more discrete if you really care about that and has the advantages, and disadvantages, of disposable batteries. For me, and depending on your hearing and the way you use Bluetooth, I really cannot get through a long day without recharging the Virto. But you are really asking an apple VS oranges question. Moisture will likely be more of an issue with Virto. Probably you will not hear any better with one VS the other but, post your .

hello all happy Monday. I currently have the widex moment that takes a size 312 battery, in your opinion, is the phonak infinio sphere 90 or the Lumitybettery? I do a lot of streaming to phones, tvs and alike. Can the Lumity do hands free calling? My audiologist is concerned that since its not the latest tech it may not meet my needs. Your thoughts?
