I had posted last week about sporadic loss of volume in one or both hearing aids when streaming and also when putting on my glasses (when the temple piece slid past my ear and slightly rubbed against hearing aid. Original post is here:

I ended up calling audiologist, was able to go straight to office and tech would clean and check. We she returned and I put them in, it was like they were brand new. Clear sound and no matter what I did by way of touching or moving there has been no loss in volume or interruptions in sound.
The solution was that she switched out the covers of Nexia 9’s with covers for the new Vivia (which are identical in size and shape, but have a replaceable filter over the microphone openings, instead of the fixed screens, which apparently get very clogged with dust and debris) I can’t believe the difference and thought this might be of help to someone else.
