Programming software and hardware for Maico hearing aids

I would like to program a Maico AO1 MiniBTE TR.
It is and nEarlink capable, and programmable via the Noahlink Wireless.
However, that is all I know about the programming procedure, because I am not the user.

Could someone tell me the name of the programming software and maybe also give me a link?

This device is made by SBO Hearing (Oticon), so I wonder if it is compatible with Oticon accessories. In particular with the TV Adapter 3 and a cheaper programmer (such as the Fittinglink 3).

Hi there, unfortunately I don’t know about these odd ball rebranded models, google shows Italian clinics, should be able to ask around on the local forum sites to see if you can find it.

Some answers:

The following brands use rebranded versions of Bernafon’s OasisNXT.
Delight, ProAkustik, Lisound, Specsavers, Meditrend, GPL, Maico, Audilab, RITM, Hoerex, Sonic

I bought a Bernafon TV adapter and it works flawlessly with the Maico .
It has the same hardware as the Oticon TV Adapter 3.0, the firmware could be different.
OasisNXT (both Bernafon and Maico) detects it but Oticon’s Genie2 does not.

These hearing aids have built-in rechargeable batteries and no obvious wired programming ports.
Every document I found only mentions wireless programming.
However, I soon discovered that the control button can be lifted and there are four copper pads underneath. Anybody recognizes the port type?
Judging by the increasing wear on the pads, the audiologist uses a wired method for programming.

Donno but that definitely doesn’t look like any connection port I’ve seen before, seems to be easier to just go with the wireless option.

Yes it’s different firmware that’s why it’s not interchangeable, same reason you can’t connect and program your Maico to genie software or use the Oticon branded tv connecter to Bernafon, Maico.
You’ll notice that you missed Phillips that uses the same as Sonic software which is just another Bernafon Oasis software.

You didn’t notice what your Audiologist uses at the time? But in the old days it was a programming shoe/boot that the HiPro cables connected to.

The hearing aids are my father’s. Besides him not knowing what to look for during the visits, his audiologist is quite secretive about the process. Definitely not a proponent of .

All things being equal, I would definitely go with wireless, the wired programming port looks so fragile. However, I am quite reluctant to spend the money on a Noahlink Wireless for some control adjustments that should be accessible from the companion mobile app.

Ahh ok I see, well you could look at this another way, the Noahlink wireless is quite cheap compared to say, getting an audiologist clinic to reprogram, after a few times this could add up, not withstanding the hassle of making appointment’s when it suits them, or even have to invest in new hearing aids from them💰
The manufacturers Apps will never allow for the kind of adjustments that can made in the software, plus the Noahlink wireless is the industry standard for programming now, so you could get from online
( new or used) and do all the fitting at home in your own time, it’s not that hard but obviously not for everyone, a little research and reading the user guides is enough to get most people started, it’s something you could do for your father.
