I want to cover certain topics during the session for first hearing aids. I want the list to be thorough, but I realize we can pick up more in follow-up sessions. I would like to use terms that make sense to the audiologist. I don’t think I’m being overly prescriptive, but have no context. I am not a fan of the idea that will consistently know which sound (voice, motor, music, etc.) that I am trying to focus on so I did not want to default to adaptive directionality and strong correction/suppression in main program. Also, I am thinking specific programs will be better tailored than just counting on Edge Mode.
Here’s what I planned on bringing. Thanks for suggestions and thoughts.
Goal: Main program with mild correction and other programs for specific situations
