Questions about the use of custom programs in myPhonak app

I’m trying to figure out how to make best use if this app. My Audiologist put up 5 programs: Speech in Noise, Public + mic, Restaurant, Music and TV. In addition I have special programs I created for four different churches that have varied acoustic problems.

Is this all the programs that Phonak has?

I find it more convenient to let the Autosense program do just about everything, without going into the individual programs,

But I was wondering what other people do with this app. Are there other programs. It appears to me that autosense will only switch to the programs that the Audi has entered for my .

Just wonder what others are doing. I am new to hearing aids. I have the TV attachment; Is the TV program for TVs for which I have no attachment? How about music program. Is it for non-streamed music like a radio or a concert hall? Phonak doesn’t seem to have any app instructions out there. I have seen a view videos on Youtube.

Here are the programs that AutoSense 3.0 can use:
Calm Situation
Speech in Noise
Comfort in Noise
Music
Speech in Loud Noise
Speech in Car
Comfort in Echo
Media speech + mic
Media music + mic

Any except the last two Media programs can be programmed by your audiologist to be user-activated by buttons on the aids. There is also a Speech in 360° not usable by AutoSense but which can be programmed to be user-activated.

The Restaurant, Music, and TV programs appear in the app for everyone and don’t require audiologist programming. I don’t know but I guess that “Restaurant” may be a user-friendly name for one of the “Speech in …” programs.

As you may have seen, when the TV Connector is in use a TV Connector program will be shown as active in the app. I don’t know what the app’s “TV” program is.

Your Audeo M90 aids can have 3 manual programs.
The and TV Connector are not manual programs. They are a different type of programs based on streaming.
I have attached the features of your Audeo aids. This may help you understand what you have.

I have tried most of the options. For me, speech in loud noise and speech in 360 seem to be the most effective for the other 2 top options.

I really like the ability to create the custom programs and have many for different situations. But be aware that your audi won’t see them if you go for adjustment and they will likely be deleted.

Thank you for this information. This is just what I am looking for. I am new to Audi and so far she has just passed the fitting session, and I won’t see her again for the next 4 months. She hasn’t really advised me or instructed me as to how to use the app and what my options might be.

Sorry, can not help you with the app. Maybe someone else will jump in and help.

I personally don’t like or want to use an app. My goal is for the aids to do their job properly in AutoSense once set up correctly.

Can you get an earlier appointment if needed?
