I had a comprehensive hearing evaluation and my score was 10.5 Loss, which falls into the moderate range for difficulty understanding speech in background noise. In other words, I can often hear that someone is speaking, but understanding what they’re are saying becomes much harder when there’s other noise around me. Does anyone know of any organizations or programs that help people obtain hearing aids? My audiologist recently recommended them, and I’m looking for resources or recommendations. I’m extremely low income. Thank you!
