I’ve had my ReSound aids now for less than a year with usual problems of feedback and a blocked tube but recently have a new problem.
During the day they work well but every evening around the same time the right hearing aid will be do the 11 beeps it does when just switched on . Then again and again. Eventually it gives 2 beeps and switches itself off needing both switched off and restarted. Then it starts again. Any thoughts please?

You did not state what aids you have … rechargeable ?
Have you checked the battery condition with the resound app ?
Sound like the battery is dying … take it to the aud. and ask to send it in for repair .
The 11 beeps means the aid restarted … and the two beeps … it is turning off .

Thanks for your reply, I visited my audiologist yesterday and the rechargeable hearing aid has been sent for repair or replacement. They are rechargeable ,cost £4000 and only 9 months old. I have a spare pair luckily

You are aware you can get your to turn off the 12 start up beeps. I’ve had my start up beeps turned off. I now only get 1 beep instead of the 12 at start up. The 12 drove me nuts, I hated them.

But still it’s a massive saving even if you had to travel and book a night in a hotel, but anyways something to consider next time, cheers
