have new aids, and keeping my old resound quattro rechargables as spare.
what's the best method of storing them - charged, charged in holder (which is also battery equipped), etc?
thanks

Keep them separate to the charger. Put a reminder on your phone to charge them to 80% once every two weeks. You can extend this to a longer duration (e.g. >1 month) once you've figured out at what point they drop to 20%. You don't want them dropping below 20% in the long run because they'll go into a state of deep discharge that affects battery capacity in the long run. They're small batteries so this might occur relatively quickly. You can always get replacement cells for a service fee if they do.

You could use a programmable outlet, app based is likely more flexible than older timers, to partially charge periodically. It's a guessing game and one can only approximate. This process also may depend upon whether your particular model of aids turn on when the charger is powered off because then the battery will drain and wear from charge cycles.
