I use clear soft earmolds with ReSound Vivia. They come with tiny red and blue circles indicating right and left ears. These circles are covered by a very thin piece of mold material and fall out 1 week into wearing the molds.
It’s deep in the ear, so I doubt it makes any sound difference. Hard plastic earmolds are probably more durable, but I had ear pain with them. Anyone else’s earmolds wear out quickly?

yes I have the silicone molds also and I have to remove the receiver wires to clean or replace which seems to wear out the hole and then receiver wire keeps coming out.. I replace molds about once a year.. i also tried the hard molds and they were VERY uncomfortable
