Reverse cookie bite fitting with ReSound Nexia

Trying to nail down the settings. Taking the reverse slope programming advice to cut the lows (counterintuitive to standard approaches). Speech still not great with + but if I increase the mids and highs, fan noise turns into white noise similar to the tinnitus feature.

I downloaded Genie 2 to see what VAC+ gains would be and white noise was a big issue. Really had to scale it back down to Audiogram+ targets (5-10 decrease for soft sounds). Tried open domes and tulips. Reverse slope articles suggest it’s a tough balance for venting.

Any advice from others in the same situation?

my is not to different than yours,(OK it is not the same) I don’t call it reverse cookie bite … I also have nexia.
I find that a acrylic custom mold with no vent or a very small pressure vent works best for me.

There is a setting for that, Advanced Features >> Custom >> Expansion :

I think I’m experiencing the same thing. Best I can tell the white noise is caused by the feedback manager. Power domes eliminate it entirely for me on my jabra branded resound ones w/ M& receivers, but its a huge problem with open domes and tulips (I have what I suppose is noise sensitivity and find it incredibly annoying). Going to try the vented but those are stuck in shipping at the moment.
