Greetings, everyone one. Rexton BiCore R-Li T guy here.
In my 60s, congenitally hearing impaired, worn all kinds of aids since age five. First one ever was a box about the size of a Brownie camera (Zenith, I think) with hard-wired over-the-ear headphones and two control knobs, R + L volume, each with an off position.
Over the years, I’ve worm Starkey, Oticon, Widex, Beltone and Siemens. The Siemens Signias I had 4 years ago just before these Rexton aids were awesome and I was lucky that a streamer came with them. Wonderful aids.
However one day I came home after surgery and was still really doped up (I live alone). I and took my aids out, absentmindedly laid them on the table next to me and basically passed out. My big (26lbs) Norwegian Forest kitty I had for 13 years since birth destroyed the L aid and ate the R aid completely (except the earpiece). Sadly, he died a little while after that. I’ve always had cats and have always been real careful where to stow aids. That was a careless moment because of the condition I was in and unfortunately that’s something I’ve been beating myself up with ever since. I miss my baby boy. Anyway, my finances and insurance at the time couldn’t allow a replacement but could get these Rexton aids.
If I recall, I was told these Rexton BiCore aids are a more basic shoot off of Siemens. Like the Signias, they’re the best aids I’ve ever worn so far. Sadly, they didn’t come with a streamer and I haven’t been able afford a one, so there are some things I can’t connect to and have to switch to conventional earbuds or headphones, which is frustrating most times. Being able to connect the aids to my MacBook for Zoom, etc. calls and meetings or Apple TV, etc (especially-have to use phones for that), etc would be super. They connect and work beautifully with all of my Apple’s iOS devices with smooth handoff between them natively and that’s been huge.
FWIW: If anyone has a streamer compatible with these BiCore aids laying around that you no longer need, please shoot me a message.
Anyway…I’d like to ask if I may be able to access the download link for the Rexton Connex.
I’m glad I discovered this wonderful community. I’ve been visiting and reading the forums for a while and decided to finally sign and participate.
Thank you.
