Hi, I’m new to and trying out some Signia Stylettos. I’ve had some trouble with the receivers slipping out of the ear, especially on the left side. My hearing loss should allow for open domes but it feels like they’re just floating loose in my ear canal. It doesn’t feel like the shape of the wire would allow for them to sit deeper. Tulips feel like a better fit but the occlusion is not ideal. Now I’ve started wondering if the slippages may be connected with the wire length. Is the wire perhaps a bit long? It doesn’t run sheer to the ear and enter at the top of the canal as I’ve seen in photos, but rather hangs down a bit and enters lower. I wonder whether this might also affect feedback? I’ve included a photo. Wire length is 2m. Thoughts? (The aid isn’t very low behind my ear although it may look that way because the stylettos are so looong!)
