RIGHT Phonak Lumity Life 312 reboots every night on its own - WHY?

Not sure what’s going on, but about a month ago, my newer pair (3/24) Lumity Life 312 aid’s RIGHT unit just reboots every single night around 9pm. There doesn’t seem to be any other wireless device to interfere (I checked our ADT wall unit - nothing going on there).

The other pair of 312s does NOT do this. So I’m wondering if this right aid is having a service issue with the “bean”, the receiver/speaker or both?

I’ll be seeing my audi today to pick up new titanium molds for these aids - but hesitate to put them on a pair that may be going downhill. Any thoughts about firmware update or other fix would be most welcome!

Could you transfer the receiver from the one that doesn’t reboot to the one that does?

That flaw would drive me it’s!

I hope you enjoy the moulded inserts. I do though they’re on Paradise P90R’s. I wish I’d done it sooner.

Members and Neville here had suggested it. My bad experience with a bad store and painful Widex hearing aid kept me using domes.

My silicone moulds are so much better. I hear better

Thanks DaveL! I think I found my FIX: today I picked up my custom titanium molds for these aids and they come with the NEW speaker embedded into the mold. So I swapped out the faulty speakers on my Pirates for the new ones. I’ll see tonight if it happens when streaming. If so, it’s some other issue.

Canada Phonak doesn’t talk to me. And my Practitioner doesn’t speak Phonak. He called my moulds the wrong name. Members on the forum fit me with a dunce cap and sat me in the corner.

I’m sorry you still deal with that. I broke my scaphoid in college playing racquetball. Six weeks cast (with warning he’d cast for a second 6 weeks if it didn’t fuse, and then he’d go in and pin it…) I remember I woke up one day and knew it had fused. But it was hell when the cast came off. Lots of exercises to build it up again. I was ROTC and they were giving me the stink eye that they might pitch me out if they were unhappy with it.

I can totally empathize with the broken wrist. Find a physical therapist, cuz that can work to heal the bone. Then you’ll need strength training to improve the support areas around your wrist. That is the formula I used for my shoulder, and now I’m back to the gym doing the strength part. It’s a journey, but there can be light at the end of the tunnel. See if your health package covers the PT tho, cuz mine is covered by Medicare. (for now, heh-heh)
