Hello,
I have the following hardware:
Siemens 7bx
Mid 2012 Macbook Pro Retina
Serial Hi-Pro running version 3.00 firmware
Connexx 7.5.3
I was able to connect to the hearing aids to the Hi-Pro, correctly identify them in connexx, run a first fit in connexx and then write my prescription and settings back to the hearing aids. On subsequent attempts to connect though Connexx I see it variously either reads the aids partially, sees the Hi-Pro and not the hearing aids or doesn’t see the Hi-Pro at all.
I can connect with the Hi-Pro configuration program and I see hi-pro blink and get a success message. Then, when I connect with Connexx, either to write or to read out, first connexx attempts to connect and I see the hi-pro blink but then comes back with a no Hi-Pro error. Then, the second attempt to access the hi-pro fails immediately without causing any response in the Hi-Pro. Further attempts to connect with Hi-Pro configuration after Connexx fails will either succeed or fail with RS232 errors or Hi-Pro timeout errors. After Hi-Pro configuration is successful though connexx is usually at least partially successful. I’m trying to figure out if this is the hi-pro or my powerbook/usb to serial connection. I’m thinking it’s possibly the hi-pro though because it was successful once.
The hi-pro is always either com port 2 or 3.
I bought the Hi-Pro of of ebay from caengineering.
Anyone have a similar experience or know what I’m talking about here?
