I have a pair of Starkey that are 10 years old and fantastic for playing classical piano . Trying out new hearing aids over the past year and a half I have not found music programs that work for this situation . From reading an archived post it seems hearing aids computer chip , algorithms , and hardware capabilities determine what amount of programming control an audiologist has. So I am continuing to hopefully search…
bBut one audiologist suggested I consider buying a reconditioned pair of this Starkey S Series 11 iQ hearing aid from them because they began as a repair business and keep spare parts of their models . I’m very much wanting to do this so I have a back up air while searching for a current model .
Does anyone have experience in buying a reconditioned previous model that has worked very very well for them ?
And how have other users of Starkey aids found playing music sounds to them?
Thanks for your observations as I am feeling desperate to find a solution that works with a new hearing aid.
