Hi all,
Long time lurker first time poster so lemme know if I’m not following etiquette!
I’ve had hearing aids for 38 years, and I’ve been programming my own Siemens aids - bought from India - for about 10 years now. Also make my own moulds etc etc. Generally very happy with the results, and I really need to be able to tweak the programming because I’ve got significant tinnitus which makes unreliable. (I always hear the tone!)
My previous pair were Siemens Lotus Pro M, programmable by cs44 cable, and I’ve now got a pair of Signia Prompt P which are reasonably well-fitted by the vendor in Delhi. Prompt P are essentially the “next generation” of the Lotus M as far as I know.
Unfortunately Signia have changed their connection though, and the Prompt P requires a programming boot/shoe. I’ve been unable to find one for sale on the interwebs so am turning to the HT forum - does anyone know if and where I can get a Programming boot for the Signia Prompt P?
Alternatively, if anyone has one and can tell me the correlation between the pinouts on the cs44 cable and the contacts inside the battery compartment on the Prompt P I’m happy to design and 3D print a programming shoe (assuming that it’s a passive component).
Thanks!
