Hi - my NHS trust has started issuing Signia Stretta6 HP hearing aids which supports Signia Streamline Mic.
I presently use a Roger Pen for mobile phone calls, Skype laptop calls and small meetings.
Does anyone have experience on how Signia Streamline Mic compares to Roger Pen for these activities?
Hi SeasideBob, I have Norfolk NHS Signia Stretta HP ’s, to assist my severe low freq. & profound Hi freq. hearing loss. They have transformed iPhone mobile phone calls because HA’s are paired with my iPhone via Bluetooth. Consequently the iPhone plays directly into my ears, bypassing the iPhone speaker and the HA’s microphones - it is almost as if I have no hearing loss. I keep referring to iPhone, best to get advice from an Android etc. user if you’re not iPhone. In addition the iPhone has the Signia App which allows some control over volume, tone, and direction, plus some other claimed features. Don’t be fooled by the App, I find it not too effective (another story). Beware to the Signia Streamline Mic. the reviews not too good, my experience = lousy (again another story).
