Perhaps this info will be useful to some. My hearing loss is severe/profound. I have been using the same set of non vented soft custom ear molds for 20 years and they are still comfortable and perform well. The were originally made for Widex and now used with Phonak and soon to be used with Starkey if they fit. Eighty-three and hoping to make 84 in December. Have a good day.

20 years is a long time. What soft material are they made of? Soft silicone is said to last only a couple of years.
