I have Specsavers Advance Elite hearing aids which I abought a month ago (I am told they are Signia). Charging them is a nightmare as the hearing aids do not easily connect to the charging pount in the pod. I spend an hour each evening pushing and shoving trying to get a connection (green light flashing) and the next day the connection has failed. Spesavers have ordered a new charging pod for me. My worries are - is this a design flaw - will I get to apoint where I end up dumping them and lose £2,000 or should I give up now and return them whilst I am still in my 90 days?

I have the Rexton Reach also Signia and I find that i need to clean the charger often to enable charging. I use alcohol on a q tip to clean the contacts in the charger and things are good for several weeks then require cleaning again. I also clean the aids at the connection point

Thanks for the reply - I was given a little brush which seems to do nothing and did wonder about using a cotton bud with some white spirit but am unsure about doing stuff not as instructed. I've attached a pic as although SS say they are Signia I am not convinced?

They have ordered a new charger and I'm waiting for that. I have 90 days (about 60 days left) to form a view on whether the 's and charger are a bad design which will cause me stress or I have just been unlucky. I posted on here in the hope that I might find others with the same HA's and charger and their experience. Specsavers don't make HA's and so I asked them who he manufacturer was and they told me Signia.

Tried a few time to post a pic and this site tells me I am 'too new' for that !!
