Hello people here,
I am a 45 years old user of signia 7 IX T(with ), I have this pair since December 2023. I am partially satisfied because although my hearing care professional made some adjustments, I have still a clarity issue with all the programs especially with streamline Tv, I cant understand what it says whatever the Channel I watch or the streaming plateform I use.
Recently, I had to send my hearing aids to customer services Because my hearing care professional and me suspected a bug with my hearing aids with the streamline TV program. So in pending, my hearing care professional lent me a pair of 7 IX hearing aids (without telecoil) and I immediately noticed a valuable improvement, the sound was better and the speech clarity was better even with Streamline Tv (I was very comfortable with all program), my hearing care professional didn’t change anything in the setting.
I told him to ask to signia to also investigate more if there is some issue with speech clarity in addition of the first problem I mention upper.
I got back my hearing aids two weeks agi but the clarity issue is still here (instead of searching where the issue could be from and correct it, they sent me a new pair of 7 T IX). It’s more obvious now because I experienced a better sound with an other pair of 7 ix without T coil and the same setting.
To precise how I hear through my hearing aids 7 T ix, the sound is a little bit raspy, husky, guttural. For an exemple, it’s like Bonny Tyler voice or robotic voice effect. More specifically when I use the TV program with streamline TV. It’s very uncomfortable and sometimes I struggle to understand what it says on TV.
My hearing care professional said to me it could be an issue with my ears, a loudness recruitment but I doubt about it.
My question is « Is there any signia users or maybe audiologists or H.I.S who noticed some differences with speech clarity between signia hearing aids 7ix with telecoil and without? »
Thank for your feedback all!
