I have a pair of Genesis hearing aids purchased early 2025. I have been replacing the frequently as they get clogged.
Is there a separate microphone cover that needs to be replaced? I came across part 52964 and some of the documentation say that the small size is for CIC aids.
However, when I dug a bit deeper, I saw some information that never CIC models, including Genesis, do not use a replaceable mic cover. If I look at mines, I see a raised area over the microphone, but it is not clear if it is a removable piece.
What is correct? Does this use a microphone cover or is it a non-serviceable
part?
