I am a Veteran and have been for several years with Nucleus 8 Cochlear sound processor and Nexia Hearing Aid provided by the . A few days ago they apparently became unlinked and I can no longer control them on my Iphone using the three button short cut or the Resound smart app. Also I cannot stream or use the phone with both devices. I restarted the phone and uninstalled/reinstalled the app but nothing seems to work. I even tried to reset my iphone to an earlier backup with no luck. Resound customer support could only suggest updating my phone to the latest IOS but that did not work. Looks like the only solution is to have the VA relink them. Unfortunately it is quite a drive for me. I tried local audioligists at my expense but they said I needed to go back to the VA. I wonder what could have caused this as I hope it doesn’t happen again. Resound mentioned it does happen to others occassionaly and can be caused by static electricity. Anyone ever have this isssue?
