Swap sides for a test with Phonak Target

Hello, is it possible to swap the sides of the hearing aids via the Target software?
I would like to test whether one of the hearing aid is really causing problems or I am wrong.
I have not found an option in the software itself. The only thing I could think of would be to do a factory reset on both devices and restore the data from the last session.

Is there another option?
Will I also lose the stored hearing curves from my audiologist with the factory reset?

You should already have made 2 clients in target, one for your audiology settings and one for your projects,this way you’ll never lose your original audiology settings, export them to your desktop as well if you wanted or store them on a flash drive.
Yeah there used to be a simple way in target if I remember correctly, but what happens if you swap the receiver over to test, otherwise you could easily make a 3rd client with the swapped receiver, but what models are you using? I think those 3 pin and the new 8 pin target always know left from right side anyways, sorry I don’t have laptop with me to check right now, calling @PeterH @kevels55 .

I’m not worried about losing the original settings. My audiologist knows I have the target software to play around with. But I also have a backup in my dropbox. So that would be safe.
I would have thought about just switching receivers.
But I don’t have the same hearing loss in both ears and therefore different amplification.
If I just change the receivers, I can check if they are broken. But I won’t hear very well :slight_smile:

My models are Phonak Audeo P50

You can use the import/export feature, in the past, I have done this, when taking the feature’s that I liked from one set of aids, basically marvel aids, into paradise aids, it wasn’t exact, but near as dammit… But, it’s been over 2 years since I used Target, I have an up to date version 10.0 thanks to @tenkan, but my Naida Lumity UP’s work so well, I have no need to tweak… Cheers Kev :wink:
