The online Co you used to purchase hearing aids had their audiologist fit yours virtually in the US. Did the audiologist get your hearing aid adjustment correct on the first try?

If you’re asking how many remote sessions it takes to get a hearing aid properly fitted, then the answer is it depends on you.
I bought my Sphere i90’s from an authorized Phonak dealer, Gensis-Hearing-Healthcare. I paid $2327 for the pair. The warranty is the standard 3-year Phonak warranty with service provided by Phonak. There’s 3 year L&D policy from Phonak also with a $300 deductible per aid. The trial period is 30 days. were $150 a pair, including shipping and tax. The price included remote fittings. They have an eBay store, an online store and a retail audi clinic in Colorado. All three stores have exceptional reviews. The audi clinic has been in business for more than 20 years, so I was not worried about getting remote fittings scheduled or who would be doing them.
I’m a long-time hearing aid user, so I knew what I wanted. I gave Genesis a list of adjustments along with my so they could program them for me before shipping.
I expected to need 1 to 2 remote sessions to fine-tune them. However, in my case I decided to use . Based on the final fitting parameters I finished with, I think it would have only taken one remote session of around 30 minutes to get the few changes I needed done.
Other people on here tinker with their settings much more frequently than I need to, so they would need several remote fittings. Those users are better off with an audi, a Costco HAP or DIY.

I was asking about virtual online setting them up.
Want to know what Co is the best to use, who gets it right, and accurate compard to a in person fitting.

Remote fitting skills are just like in-house fitting skills.
There are really good HAP’s in both. Knowing the software, understanding the specific hearing aid and knowing specific fixes for problems is the issue. In general, audi’s, remote fitters and in-house fitters fall into three groups–20% are excellent, 60% are okay, and 20% need to find a new line of work. There is no such thing as the “best.”
If an audi sells lots of a specific brand of hearing aid, then they’re likely to be really good with that brand. Audis and online sellers sometimes say they supply every brand, but if they only fit 2 of x brand per year, don’t buy x brand from them.
The company I mentioned, Genesis, sells hundreds of Phonak hearing aids a year. Grace, the Target fitter, knows the software. They’ve been in business over 20 years. Are they good at Phonak–yes. Are they good at Oticon–not likely.

You have to understand that an is done in a quiet place and real life is not. So chances that the first fitting will be optimal are small.
2.- A first virtual fitting cannot be better than a first in person visit. In person fitting includes visual dome inspection , real-ear measurements and live sounds tests that you can’t do during a virtual session . I do not agree with @Elderly that online virtual sessions are like in-person visits for the reasons i explained. It’s the same with a doctor virtual visit vs in-person: the online doctor can’t touch you
but it may be ok for something simple or a follow up.
3.- people like @Elderly had a good experience with her eBay seller , others can also provide share positive experiences but no one can tell you what virtual fitter is the best . For that , a person must have tried all the virtual fitters and create a comparison map.

Thats what I thought, but wanted to hear others opinions. Thank you for the confirmation.

There are a lot of things that are possible in person, like that can’t be done remotely. Everything has a cost. And almost everything sounds great in an audi fitting booth. Clarity will never be better.
Fixing a fitting issue like volume is simple and easy to do. Dealing with an issue like tinny female voices is a complex problem with many possible solutions. The more precisely defined an issue is, the better chance any fitter has of fixing it. Tinny voices, unnatural-sounding voices, are typical problem descriptions for a lot of users. Well, is clarity more important than natural-sounding voices? It depends. Can’t everyone have both?

Just remember that no one else can possibly hear what you do or how you like things to sound! This is why works for a lot of people, doing adjustments OTA is definitely helpful for a lot of people, but the next step would be a lot easier when you DIY, making adjustments on the fly especially in noisy environments etc
