I’m in my first few days of a trial of the Intent. I’m noticing something about the shape which I haven’t seen written about. I have read that it is shorter and fatter than its predecessor, making it overall more discreet. But what I am seeing is a distinct bend forward at the top of the hearing aid. It’s not as dramatic as the bend in the new Widex SmartRIC, who have made a big deal about this change in shape, but it definitely moves the microphones to a more forward position.

Are you seeing what I’m seeing?

That is a repositioning of the microphones to better position the receiving of sound. It is to help with speech understanding and speech in noise is my understanding. Any i have been wearing my INTENT1 aids now for three weeks. They are so much better than my Real1 aids.
